Title

Letter from Otho Sherrick to Dr. W.E. Simonds

Description

Otho Sherrick writes from a military training camp in Great Lakes, Illinois, that "Uncle Sam has made me one of his blue jackies since I left school on the third of June. The navy is a fine place, and I like it better than what I have seen of the army. The YMCA certainly is doing a wonderful work in the camps for the boys." Sherrick expresses his desire to go into aviation, and inquires about a letter of recommendation from Dr. Simonds.
